Payment terms
Ruthy's Rides accepts payment via Credit Card, Paypal & Direct Deposit (bank transfer).
No goods will be dispatched without full payment.
All pricing on www.ruthysrides.com.au is in Australian Dollars (AUD) and includes GST of 10%. Prices are subject to change without
notice but once an order is placed, your price will be honoured.
Delivery
Delivery within Australia will be made via Australia Post or Star Track Express. Postage and handling costs will be confirmed upon
checkout, and will be judged according to the weight, size and number of items.
Items will be despatched within 2 working days of your payment clearing. Please allow 3 to 10 working days for delivery within Australia.
Goods lost in transit cannot be replaced until an investigation has been completed by Australia Post or Star Track Express.
Bicycle Assembly
Our bikes are delivered particially assembled to be completed by a qualified mechanic. Ruthy's Rides accepts no responsibility for
the assembly of any of our products. We do not offer a warranty or accept any liability in the event of an accident or mechanical fault.
Most items are covered by the manufacturer's warranty (eg Shimano) - see below for more details.
Bicycle Guarantee
Our bikes are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase. To exchange a bicycle or a part, the bicycle must be clean and in good condition, with
proof of regular servicing.
Out of stock items
Most items can be back in stock within 1 week of your order date, however we will still notify you regarding the delay. You will be given
the opportunity to cancel the order or choose an alternative item. Goods on back order will be dispatched as soon as they are received by
Ruthy's Rides provided they have been paid in full.
Exchanges
If for some reason you are not satisfied with the product, please contact us within 7 days of receipt to arrange an exchange. The
returned item must be unused and in original packaging with all tags intact. The customer is responsible for postage charges incurred for
the return of exchange items, except in special circumstances. Special circumstances will be judged on a per case basis.
Return of Damaged Goods
If you receive an item that is not in perfect condition, please contact us within 7 days to arrange a replacement. We ask that you return
the goods with labels and packaging included. The customer is responsible for postage charges incurred for the return of damaged items,
however we will send the replacement item free of charge. Ruthy's Rides will replace faulty items on approval of the fault.
If the product purchased is no longer in stock we will offer you the option to wait while we order more stock, an exchange or a refund.
Return of Faulty Goods
All products sold by Ruthy's Rides are quality brands that are respected in our industry. Most of these items are are covered by a warranty
offered by the manufacturer (eg. Shimano, etc). If a product appears to be faulty, and the purchase date falls within the time frame outlined
by the manufacturer's warranty period, then you should contact Ruthy's Rides immediately for information on how to process a warranty claim
with that particular manufacturer's Australian distributor.
The customer is responsible for postage charges incurred for the return of faulty items back to Ruthy's Rides, or directly to the
manufacturer's Australian distributor.
The decision to repair, replace, or refuse a claim is made by the manufacturer's Australian distributor only.
If the claim is refused due to any reasons given by the manufacturer's Australian distributor, the customer will be notified and will be
responsible for delivery charges of the product if the customer would like it returned.
If the claim is approved for repair or replacement, no shipping will be charged on final delivery to the customer. This cost will covered
by Ruthy's Rides.
